Smile's debut EP features both singles, as well as 3 new songs such as 'Twisted Truths'. A musical diary of Smile's life from the past 4 years, they bring a relatable and introspective energy to their music.

HUMAN

‘Human’, Smile’s fourth release, touches on their experiences with dissociation and feeling ‘spaced out’. Talking on the single, she says: “I talk about a time where I didn’t feel like I was in my body and got so desperate to feel ‘normal’ again, that I was screaming out ‘why do I not feel human?’”.

SPOTLIGHT

Spotlight, Smile’s fourth single, features an introspective insight into her experiences as a mixed race person throughout their life. With an important message about feeling strong and wanting a ‘normal life’, despite societal challenges, Smile is very open about the pull they have felt from their cultures, Pakistani and British. Featuring unforgettable melodies, and more of Zara’s powerful and yet intimate vocals, along with military style drums and contemplative vibe.
